Job Description
- Promote and support Scrum by helping teams and stakeholders understand Scrum theory, practices, principles, and values.
- Ensure that the Scrum framework is implemented correctly and functions effectively.
- Coach the team on applying Scrum practices and values to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Guide and mentor the Scrum Team in self-organization and ownership of their work.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to manage and refine the product backlog.
- Facilitate Scrum events and other necessary meetings, including Product Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
- Support the team in getting work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating tasks.
- Encourage open discussion, enable decision-making, and resolve conflicts constructively.
- Identify, minimize, and remove impediments that block progress.
- Provide support to the team using a servant leadership approach.
- Help the Scrum Team reach higher levels of maturity and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to enhance the adoption and impact of Scrum across the organization.

Experience & Skills
- Possess over 3 years of professional experience in the role of Scrum Master
- Having knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts.
- Working technical knowledge of the software development process – design, development, test, and deployment
- Strong communication, collaboration, leadership, conflict resolution, and time management skills
- Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team
- Analytical skills to be able to solve problems and remove impediments
- Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
- Certified Scrum Master is a plus
