Job Description
System Analysis & Upgrade
- Analyze backend architecture, frontend architecture, internal network systems, and cloud infrastructure.
- Identify performance bottlenecks, security risks, and scalability limitations.
- Enhance technical standards, operational processes, and current team capabilities.
Design & Propose Future Architecture
- Build a system restructuring roadmap including architecture refactoring, cloud migration, microservices adoption, DevOps standardization, and infrastructure optimization.
- Propose an appropriate technical organization model and software development process.
Network & Cloud Development
- Redesign the internal network integrated with cloud environments (hybrid or multi-cloud), ensuring security, performance, and observability.
- Establish connection processes between on-premise systems and cloud-native environments.
Performance Setup & Monitoring
- Define technical metrics (SLIs/SLOs/SLAs) and develop load testing and benchmarking plans.
- Implement performance monitoring systems (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) and early warning alert mechanisms.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Act as a bridge between technical teams (Developers, QA, DevOps) and non-technical teams (Product Owner, Business Analyst).
- Translate business requirements into feasible and optimized technical solutions.
Deployment Supervision & Operations
- Plan the implementation of the new architecture, assess risks, monitor progress, and ensure system stability during transition.
- Evaluate and control operational effectiveness after deployment.
Long-Term Technical Strategy
- Develop a 3–5 year system development strategy including overall architecture, technical roadmap, budget, resources, and scalability planning.
- Serve as a senior technical advisor to the CTO / Head of Engineering in strategic decision-making.
Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 7–9 years of software development experience, including at least 4 years as a Senior System Architect or Technical Lead.
- Hands-on experience with large-scale production systems; preference for candidates who have led architectural transformation or enterprise cloud migration initiatives.
- Strong expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, event-driven architecture, and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably AWS; Azure or GCP acceptable), CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience with observability systems such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, OpenTelemetry, etc.
- Excellent analytical and technical communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage stakeholders effectively.
- Strategic mindset with experience evaluating technical ROI, budgeting, and reorganizing engineering teams when necessary.
