Job Description

Build and Improve Product Development Processes

  • Develop QA process frameworks aligned with the internal product lifecycle—from development to maintenance.
  • Integrate modern methodologies such as Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and Shift-left Testing into the QA process.
  • Continuously refine processes based on real-world feedback from users, product teams, and engineering teams.

Establish Quality Standards & Ensure Process Compliance

  • Clearly define acceptance criteria, technical quality standards, and non-functional requirements for each product.
  • Set up and organize process compliance activities such as QA reviews and internal audits.
  • Digitize process systems to enable better monitoring and traceability of product quality history.

Monitor and Continuously Improve Product Quality

  • Collect and analyze quality metrics such as defect rate, defect leakage, test coverage, and user feedback.
  • Identify quality risks early and collaborate with Product and Development teams for timely resolution.
  • Propose and follow through on quality improvement initiatives tailored to each product phase.

QA Team Management

  • Develop capability-building plans for QA staff with a focus on automation, early integration testing, and non-functional testing.
  • Allocate QA resources effectively across multiple projects and products.
  • Position the QA team as an integrated part of the product team, working closely with Development, Product, and Customer Support.

Define QA Tools and Platform Strategy

  • Select and implement appropriate QA tools such as Jira, Confluence, TestRail, Jenkins, Power BI, etc.
  • Work with technical teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Provide requirements for internal tool development or integration to support quality monitoring and analytics.

Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, or an equivalent field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA/Product Quality roles, including at least 3 years in a managerial position within a product-based company.
  • Proven experience implementing quality management frameworks such as ISO 25010, CMMI, or team maturity assessment models.
  • Deep understanding of the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC), Software Delivery Maturity, and the Test Pyramid.
  • Experience working in internal product development models with Continuous Delivery cycles.
  • Proficient with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, Jenkins/GitLab CI, Power BI/Grafana, TestRail, and Postman.
  • Hands-on experience evaluating and implementing test frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, REST Assured).
  • Strong systems thinking with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, SRE, Customer Support, and other teams to align on a unified quality strategy.

Nice to Have:

  • Certifications such as ISTQB Advanced, CSQA, PSM, or experience working with customer-facing feedback loops.
  • Experience in B2C/B2B product development with large user bases or complex systems (e.g., microservices, cloud-native environments).
